Marco Rubio Warns Christian Conservatives of the Costs of Gay Intolerance

By Jeremy W. Peters, The New York Times

Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, who has faced widespread condemnation for agreeing to speak at a conference alongside Christian conservatives who have denounced homosexuality and gay rights, used his speech to the group on Friday to warn of the costs of intolerance.

His remarks in Orlando, Fla., not far from the site of the massacre at a gay nightclub in June, were his most extensive yet in public on the subject of prejudice against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. And he struck a notably softer tone than during his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, during which he repeatedly reaffirmed his opposition to same-sex marriage.

Why is believing you can be Gay OK and not believing it's intolerant? Not so long ago it wasn't OK to be Gay. It seems the same intolerance placed on Gay's is now being placed on Christians by the Gay's, just like racism. It seems that Whites were intolerant of Blacks and now Blacks are heeping it on against Whites and it's OK? How about this, NO ONE IS RIGHT OR WRONG. It's what you choose to believe and that's your opinion. Everyone is entitled to have one without being labeled intolerant, racist or a bigot! Being labeled for not believing in anything IS WRONG and we all know it but our tongues are being held by political correctness. Being politically correct is a polite way of saying I'm intolerant, racist or a bigot and getting away with it!

Wake up people before we get to the point of no return!
