Wal-Mart cutting accounting, invoicing jobs at about 500 stores

By Sarah Nassauer, MarketWatch

About 500 stores, mostly on the West Coast, are dropping positions that cover accounting and invoicing for individual stores, said Mark Ibbotson, executive vice president for central operations at Wal-Mart U.S.

A Wal-Mart  store typically has about three employees in those roles, usually high-paid hourly workers who count cash or manage invoices for companies that bring products directly to stores, not through Wal-Mart’s warehouses.

We see articles like this everyday, corporations cutting jobs, implementing technology to take over a job, moving out of the country or just closing altogether. When is the last time you've seen someone hiring a lot of people, dismantling technology for a live worker or starting a new large corporation? The good news is the unemployment rate remains at 5% because they just subtract everyone they think isn't looking for work anymore. There is no incentive to work anymore. You can get everything for free. Someday soon the free will be over and those people who've become dependent on free won't know how to survive. The greed of men set up this end of country scenario. Instead of business owners making enough to live comfortably, they want to leech every penny they can off of the American People. The American Dream has turned into a killing machine, killer of the American Dream.
