President Obama is fond of saying that ObamaCare is a great insurance product: coverage that can’t be taken away, generous mandated benefits, and subsidized premiums for many.
But if ObamaCare insurance is so great, then why is Obama trying to outlaw a private sector alternative that has become hugely popular?
These plans, called short-term health policies, provide coverage for up to a year. But they don’t comply with ObamaCare’s mountain of mandates and regulations — they don’t cover pre-existing conditions, maternity care, etc.

Now they will start fining people double who have Obamacare and then cancel because they figure out their deductible and co-payments are so high they have to pay 100% of the bill anyway plus pay their premiums.
