Sen. Ted Cruz would not say, despite repeated questioning, whether he would support Donald Trump as the Republican nominee for president.

"I believe that if the Republican Party nominates Donald Trump, we will lose to Hillary," the senator from Texas said in an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press."

What followed was a five-minute back-and-forth in which Cruz repeatedly dodged the same question posed by NBC anchor Chuck Todd.

Cruz should realize everything he does or doesn't do in relation to Trump only makes Trump stronger in the peoples eyes. That crap he and Kasich tried to pull didn't help either. Trump is now ahead by 15 points in Indiana and 10 in California with New Jersey's big count yet to come. No way they can stop Trump now. If Cruz said he would support Trump if nominated then you would look a lot more presidential, whereas now you look like a big ole cry baby.
